In My Fragments of Wholeness

In My Fragments of Wholeness

"In My Fragments of Wholeness" is a deeply personal and conceptual photo series that reflects my journey through childhood memories and their enduring influence. At its heart, it explores the intricate emotions of my childhood, particularly those moments of mixed excitement and apprehension, which I vividly recall from times by the lake with my family.

As an adult, these memories, tinged with a sense of danger and disquiet, persist, offering a unique lens on what is often deemed normal for a child. My background in social sciences informs this exploration, hinting at a lifelong interaction with dissociative defense mechanisms, a recurring motif in my life's narrative.

This series, while orderly and sequential, purposefully obscures the larger picture. This approach is reflective of my experiences with the Rorschach test, where I found myself focusing more on the minute details rather than the entire image. This series stands as a metaphor for my personal journey.
